That's a tough one, have you calculated how much you would spend on oil changes for three years if you don't go that route?
well the oil change every 12500 , not sure how much will cost ,
Find out what else the maintenance plan covers because a lot of times it may not actually be worth it..
I didn't get the "maintenance" plan because it didn't really cover anything of substance.
basically its 3X OIL CHANGE ,2x spark plugs , and 3X replace brake fluid ( this does not make sense may be its typo they mean Check)
and one time alternator belt Only cover to 37500 mile

i never owned maserati before , so i'm not sure how much the cost for oil change sparks plugs. etc..

NO...its not worth it....Dealers make more money off those extra warranties and plans than the cars......Example.....They told me a new tire is 900.00 so I should get the tire insurance.......I Did NOT.....I had to get a new tire, got nail in it ......Tire rack.com sent a new tire to my House for 233.00.....Local tire dealer charged me 30 bucks to mount it....Easy.

They said Brakes cost 1200 to change the pads.......my local foreign car repair shop, charges 500.00 at the most......He works on Maseratis...he said, its still just a car :D:D.. Just buy the car, take the regular warranty from Factory and Go DRIVE :D ....If you can't cough up some money for oil changes and other stuff, then you probably shouldn't be looking at this kind of car....just my 2 cents.

u have good point , totally agree its not worth it you paying 3000$ for 3 oil change the rest of the maintenance just check fluid level ..
i will cancel it.. they did mention something about voiding warranty if not done bu authorized dealer ..
its oil change
3
just replaced the oil

here what i used:
1- Pennzoil 550040834-6PK Platinum Euro SAE 5W-40 Full Synthetic Motor Oil 60$ ( ferrari logo) :wink2:
2-LEVANTE V6 OIL FILTER OEM # 311401 BASE SQ4 SUV 42$
3-Mityvac 7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus with 8.8 liter (2.3 gallon) 100$

Next time will cost me just 130 for oil and filter , the fluid evacuator very easy to use, no mess :smile2:0:):smile2:
this first maintenance @ 12000 mile , the rest check fluid ..

HI, So what would be the cost for the oil change or the first 12k maintenance if you were to take it to a dealership?

Thank you
Isn’t the problem with going to a mechanic or doing it yourself that the maintenance light can’t be reset?
if the car still on warranty you have to bring it to the dealer maserati
Got my 1st year maint. done yesterday 15JUN18, one year of ownership and virtual no issues (dead battery once, after about two months, brought it in, they charged it up and did some programing update, never happened again). Cost for the "oil change" was $613.00 (in Houston, TX - Helfman at I-10), curious what others are paying.

Hi, This has to be more than "just an oil change"? No?

I am taking mine to your same dealership next week, and they quoted on the phone for $425 for oil change. I wonder what else did they charge you beside oil change? Shop fees etc?
