AutoGuide posted this piece called "5 Things learned driving the 2017 Maserati Levante S" and it's alright. One of those things to breeze through. One of the points was "4. Off-road, Not So Much" where they said a weak point for taking it off road are the tires because they don't hook anything that isn't asphalt and that it's "hard" to know where your front wheels are landing because of the big hood.
Don't really see these as drawbacks because 1, you can buy more off-road oriented tires if that's what you're going for. 2, through averaging when driving a vehicle, it isn't hard to understand where the front wheels are regardless of the size of the hood.
