again, not competing with maserati in any way. If the 3000 unit target wasn't enough of a stark contrast to Maseratis aim for 50,000 Levantes per annum
then the $200K tag should be a BIG tip off that Levante and Urus will never compete.

If the 3000 unit target wasn't enough of a stark contrast to Maseratis aim for 50,000 Levantes per annumTwo years ago we were shown the Lamborghini Urus at the Beijing Auto Show. It was awesome. Then we waited and waited, and thought that the Urus may have disappeared forever. Thankfully Lamorghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann confirmed the Urus for production late last year.
Winkelmann gave another interview yesterdat, and he confirmed that the Urus is indeed still on schedule for its 2017 debut.
By that time the Urus will be competing with the likes of Bentley, Maserati and Rolls-Royce in the super luxury SUV segment.
Winkelmann says that the Urus could sell as many as 3,000 units per year, which would make it the best selling Lambo model ever!
It will come with a price of around $200,000, and will be powered by either the new Audi twin-turbo V8 or Lambo's own V10.

Always seen the maserati SUV as a porsche & range rover rival, aside from those two brands there isn't any direct competition. at least this is a good way for them to some of the spot light porsche and RR has.again, not competing with maserati in any way. Tough to say, it really depends how they want to go about it. It could even be priced more. Maybe it will start low and see a price jump like the Cayenne depending on the trim you choose.I have a feeling the Urus is going to be priced around the Gallardo pricing.
What do you think?
Makes sense to me. Could even have the same engine.
