Ordered my Levante back in September and it finally arrived - just gorgeous and totally worth the wait!

So, I picked it up last week and so far I love it. Unfortunately - I got caught in a bad storm and it started leaking from the windshield (I think) into the area with the overhead lights and sunroof controls. (Uggh!)

All in all about 5 ounces of water dropped down into the cabin. Anyone else had this problem.? Going back to the dealer on Friday (only one week after pick-up) to have it looked at.... hope its an easy fix. Hoping for some words of encouragement.

Welcome to the forums. That sounds terrible! Windshield issues seems to be afloat in this area but nobody knows what's causing it. I have seen more of the cracking though, not the leaking but I wouldn't doubt them being linked.

Thankfully the water didn't short out the overhead lights and sunroof control though, that could have ended really badly.

I haven't experienced this yet, and drove through my first rain storm this past weekend. It does seem there are a batch of trucks with windshield issues. Any input from your dealer on this one?

Seen a posting from a few different sources that their dealerships in Germany said it's a known problem with them.

I know the cracked windshields are apparently a known problem, but this is the first I've heard of leaking as being a known problem. Interesting, I'll reach out to my dealer to see if they've heard of it.

Thanks for the input! I had to delay taking it in to the dealer but hopefully will have an answer (and a fix) soon.
