Hey Guys,
Does anyone have the Lease numbers for November...looking for the Residual and money factor. I know right now its an MSRP game on the Levante if you can find one with the options you are looking for. I remember it was the same way when the Ghibli came out, but was able to get pretty decent discounts both times.

From what I am hearing/reading, we may never see the same kind of discounts as the Ghibli and Quotroporte on the Levante since there is more demand than supply for the near future.

all standard rate, standard residual fare.

don't bother looking for discounts.
you can try, but when these cars last HOURS when they arrive, if they aren't already sold.

I agree--not expecting any discounts. Just finding something available with the options you want seems difficult enough right now.

here is a little known method of getting what you want, slightly quicker than a fresh order.

find a dealer, ask them if they have any assigned unsold Levante in "10" status.
those can be altered and changed to exactly your spec. they typically will only take about 3 months to receive, instead of teh usual 5.

i'm sure you are aware, but the reason for the lack of supply is because the vehicle was JUST released for sale in the USA in September.
the first few months of production were/are not many... for instance September, if i recall, was 400 cars for the USA. October was maybe 600.
you wont see any REAL volume on lots until second quarter 2017.

plus those of us that were proactive began taking orders back in February when the order system first opened.

I have a 2015 Ghibli and stopped at my dealer about 2 weeks ago and while there looked at the Levante they had inside. I thought it was very nice but the sales guy said they were not accepting offers below sticker, they had 3 other Levantes outside as well, all white, the one inside was red.


The dealer is actually on my way home from work so I drive by every day and the white ones have been parked out front probably close to 6 weeks now if not 2 months.


Yesterday I got the spam email from the dealer saying they got 4 new Levantes in and to come in or call before they go, well they still have the 4 they had 2 weeks ago so now they have a total of 8, 6 regular and 2 S models. I may stop to see if they got in any other color options next week if I have time but they are not selling here at sticker price.

You must be in the North East.

The NE region seemed to have a decent supply with more on ground than anyone.
The rest of the country has 1 or less per dealer on ground or available. Maserati just began TV ads last month so expect awareness to spread.
You are right as far as just a matter of time on discounts, however, SUV's tend to take 6-8 months from introduction (hitting lots) before any movement is seen.
this is an average, and will vary, but you get the idea.

Even during the very early stages I noticed a lack of getting the word out there. No one really knew until randomly seeing them on the road, and even then some were questioning if its an older model (not exactly a good thing)

But this seems natural to me, being a brand that's still trying to get a range of volume products out there. Alfa Romeo seems to be in a similar position but wants to rank up high like the German brands. Will be interesting to see which of those two become more well known over the coming years.

That's EXACTLY what We did.....Got the options we wanted and dealer said it would be here in March...ordered in December ......dealer said they had some "in line" but didn't have a customers name on it yet....I guess that was the "10 status" ....Can't wait.
