A Maserati Levante prototype has been spied once again testing in Germany ahead of its 2016 launch. Like the last time we saw the Levante prototype, it is wearing Ghibli body with weights on the roof to simulate the added weight that the eventual Levante body will add to the completed vehicle. The result of that is a really odd looking car that doesn't give us too much to go off of.

Power for the Levante is expected to come from two V6 gasoline engines with 350 and 425 HP, and a V8 engine with more than 560 HP. There will also be diesel engines that churn out 250, 275 and 340 HP.

The Levante is set to be built at FCA's Miafiori plant in Turin, Italy. It is expected to go on sale sometime in 2016, but we could get to see a completed product before then. Some rumors say we could see it at an auto show before the end of next year.
