Oil Leak

Welcome to the forums. Where is the leak coming from though?

Was told by dealer that it was leaking out right side turbo inlet. It is a slow leak, sometimes taking weeks for drops to hit the garage floor. This will be the THIRD time to the dealer.

Have they resolved this for you? Curious what the outcome was for this.

They changed the crankcase breather tube that connects into the right side turbo. That said that it has valves inside it. So far so good.Maybe third time will be the charm.

Hopefully that was it but did they give any details about the fix, like maybe showing you a service TSB that would outline the causes and solution? As an owner I find that information like that can help although its a bit excessive depending who you ask.

Didn’t show me anything like that, they just replaced the pipe. They said it has valves inside, they are hoping one was bad. So far so good.

Own a 2017 with turbo oil leak and now a crank case oil leak today. 12k miles only. One day before 36 month warranty up. Disappointed with this vehicle.
