Has anyone experienced an excruciatingly loud phone ring while listening to music with CarPlay? Anyone know what the solution might be?

Has anyone experienced an excruciatingly loud phone ring while listening to music with CarPlay? Anyone know what the solution might be?

Either lower the volume on your actual phone or have someone call you while you're connected to bluetooth in your car and lower the volume as you speak or when the phone is ringing with rotary knob.

I tried playing with the volume etc, but nothing worked to reduce the volume....and I agree, it was downright dangerous....we'd be driving down the road enjoying our ride, when someone would call and it really startled us....I was in at the dealership where I bought it and mentioned it to one of the techs.....we sat in my Levante and he called me with his cell.....he just about jumped out of his skin! He did a simple hard re-set while we were in the car and problem solved....it now rings normally...I had to re-enter some items....favorite radio stations for example, but that was little inconvenience compared to stopping the excessively loud phone ring!

I have this problem. Tried turning down while still ringing and the hard reset and works fine for that journey. Switch off and next day, back to usual excessively loud ring.
