Interesting stats to analyze here. I am thinking about gender roles in North America vs. China, as well as the perceived gender of the Quattroporte. I am also wondering what vehicle well-to-do women are buying in North America, if not the Quattroporte. I bet you that the Levante will skew even more heavily towards women.
Im not all that surprised, i do see quite a few women driving Quattroporte's, I guess it's the overall design that attracts them to it along with the name, both unique things, that stand out.
I don't see the Quattroporte as a particularly feminine design or name. I also don't think its entirely masculine. It just seems to have properties that make it appeal to men and women. And ideally isn't that what a good car design should aim for?
It is what a good car design should aim for, but im sure this is the case for many cars, not just the quattroporte, which is a good thing. I see a lot of women in Cayenne's, same with Men.
Speaking of girls liking the Quattroporte, here is a video of a nice lady test driving the Maserati Quattroporte. While there is plenty of information in this video, you are going to have to speak Russian in order to understand any of it. I think you;ll agree that there is still value in the video despite the language barrier though.
Maserati's to them are probably their version of a Honda. Seen a documentary on the wealth of a good portion of people in China and it's just crazy at the amount of Hypercars they have.
